Medelinked Customers Can Use Microsoft Band to Track Health

According to its web site, Medelinked is a secure mobile and online health platform that empowers you to take control of your health, from building your health profile to discovering, connecting to and sharing your health and wellness information with your trusted healthcare providers.

Based in Oxfordshire, UK, Medelinked is similar to MyChart offered by Premier Health Partners in the US. Essentially, all customer health data is stored centrally and instead of passing medical records between doctor’s offices and hospitals, those part of the specific health network just need an account.

According to an announcement today, Medelinked has added Microsoft Health and Microsoft Band to the list of supported platforms and devices. Microsoft’s offerings join Garmin Connect, UP by Jawbone, Samsung S Health, Nokia/Withings and iHealth.

Incidentally, Medelinked only support Microsoft Health when running on iOS or Android. It does not support using Microsoft Band with a Windows-based smartphone.
