Developing Your Own Wind Alerts for Microsoft Band

Here’s yet another interesting concept for the Microsoft Band and one definitely worth considering. I’m not a developer but the more I share these, the more I hope many of you feel challenged to make me some Band apps.

Last week I shared about a solution David Vescovi developed for skydiving. This week’s find is somewhat similar, but takes a different source for obtaining data. S h i S h with Microsoft has put together the ability to push Wind alerts to the Microsoft Band. And, he’s laid it out in a way that makes it pretty easy for anyone to accomplish. There’s no real code to write, just use the Weather Underground API and the Microsoft Band web tile authoring tool.
