Develop for Microsoft Band without Actually Connecting a Microsoft Band

A valuable piece of development that Microsoft provided once-upon-a-time for Windows Phone was a Windows-based emulator. When installed, this emulator delivered a full Windows Phone environment directly on-screen, allowing developers to test apps without ever touching the device.

Microsoft itself hasn’t provided something similar for Microsoft Band, but Pete D and David Gristwood, both tech evangelists at Microsoft have. Called Fake Band, this Microsoft Band emulator runs on the client PC and gives developers the ability to run real-time tests against a full Microsoft Band environment.

Fake Band is available from GitHub: https://github.com/BandOnTheRun/fake-band

Now get out there!  Make me some apps!
