ODBC DLLs are not protected system files.

When you install a program that installs an older version of ODBC on your computer, the DLLs are overwritten.

This can cause Terminal Services and SQL to authenticate improperly. Other undesireable effects will also be noticed.

To recover, copy the newer versions of the replaced files into your %SystemRoot%System32 folder, and restart your computer.
