Q: I'm trying to use Azure Site Recovery to replicate to Azure; however, I need to use a proxy and have a PAC file for automatic Internet Explorer configuration. How do I use this with Azure Site Recovery?

A: During Azure Site Recovery (ASR) configuration, proxy information can be configured. However, a PAC file can't be used as part of this configuration; only a proxy and port combination can be used. If you must use a PAC file, then you should perform the configuration in Internet Explorer to leverage the PAC, which would then be used by ASR.
