Google Working on a Me-Too Cloud Status Page

Both Amazon and Microsoft provide specific status dashboards for their Cloud services, allowing customers and non-customers to get a quick overview of service availability. What's up, what's down, what's degraded, it's an important and most times comforting view into the services standings. This seems like a simple thing that should be common across all major Cloud platforms, but up until now, Google offered only status reviews for its App Engine and Google Apps.

Google has recently unveiled a new dashboard it is working on. Currently shown as experimental, the Google Cloud Platform Status dashboard pulls together more of Google's Cloud services including App Engine, Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, and Cloud SQL.

Like all things Google, the page is pretty plain with a standard grid against white background.
