Windows Phone 8.1 Update 1 Now Available for Developer Previewers

I mentioned last week, that Windows Phone VP, Joe Belfiore, said that the first update for Windows Phone 8.1 would be available starting this week. Little did I know that Microsoft was planning to kick-off the first full week of August by supplying the update right at the beginning.

If you are running the Developer Preview for Windows Phone 8.1 you can get Update 1 right now by opening Settings and then navigating to Phone update – Check for Updates.

I'm downloading it now and in another 20 minutes or so, I'll be checking out what Microsoft left out of the initial Windows Phone 8.1 release to deliver in the first update.
