A. For practical purposes, the serial cradle transfer rate is approximately 8Kbps, and the USB cradle transfer rate is approximately 75Kbps. Because of these relatively slow transfer speeds, if you use a CompactFlash (CF) card or MicroDrive, you're better off purchasing an external card reader.
