Tronsmart USB Type C Car Charger

My travels usually involve flying and less long drives, but a trip to Amish country in Ohio this past weekend meant that I needed the ability to charge my USB Type C devices. I've had the Tronsmart car charger ready for such an occasion, so I finally got a chance to try it out. Car chargers are hit-and-miss on quality and that's usually the biggest concern. But, after my all day driving trip, I can safely say that the Tronsmart is a solid, quality built device.

The Tronsmart comes with an integrated, permanent USB Type C connector but also offers a standard USB connection in the single device. This was important as I was the only one on the trip with a USB Type C device, but others wanted to charge their smartphones, too. So, the ability to charge both types was valuable. Of course, since I was the only one with a USB Type C device, I had to spend the time to explain what it was, why it was different, and why the others might see them more in the future.

The quality of the Tronsmart sold me. Yes, it works as designed, but I also felt like I wouldn't have to replace it in a month or so through regular use.
