Solve AverMedia ReCentral sound problems

Q. I use AverMedia ReCentral to capture video however I've lost audio from the application, what can I do?

A. I've seen numerous people experience this problem and the solution is actually very simple. Make sure obvious steps like the application is not muted via the Windows sound mixed and the application itself. To solve a still muted application navigate to folder C:Program Files (x86)AVerMediaAVerMedia RECentral and rename RECentral.exe to RECentral1.exe. The rename of the executable solves the issue with sound being unavailable from the application. After performing this rename you will need to recreate your shortcuts for the application but it now should have sound.
