Quick Take: Pulse Secure Spins Off, Immediately Acquires MobileSpaces

On October 2, 2014 Juniper Networks divested Junos Pulse, a secure gateway and VPN offering, into a new entity, Pulse Secure, which simultaneously announced the acquisition of mobile application security company MobileSpaces. Pulse Secure begins as a new standalone vendor today as Siris Capital Group closes the purchase of the technology and team from Juniper. This report analyzes the divestiture and acquisition and examines what it means for security and risk (S&R) professionals embracing and securing mobility in their enterprise.
