PDAs are one of the fastest-selling consumer devices in history; millions of people use them to stay organized. And Dell did it again with the Best PDA award, pulling off an upset victory over last year's winner, the HP iPAQ, which slipped to third place. Readers said that the Dell Axim looks great and has a sharp display and cited its size and price point as reasons for buying the product.
Axim models offer the latest handheld Intel processors, Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition software, and Bluetooth wireless technology. The Axim X30 features Intel's PXA270 processor, which provides excellent multimedia performance and power-management features that help extend battery life. Customers can choose between two processor speeds: 312MHz or 624MHz, the fastest processor speed available for handheld devices.
