Mobile computing devices have come a long way in the past year, and Microsoft Pocket PC—enabled PDAs have become a favorite among readers. Not surprisingly, the HP iPAQ won the Readers' Choice award this year for Best PDA by a wide margin. Our readers like the iPAQ's seamless integration with Microsoft applications and many third-party solutions, its ability to perform a variety of different tasks, and its intuitive extension of the desktop.

Featuring 200MHz to 400MHz Intel and Samsung processors, 48MB to 128MB of SDRAM memory, and trans- reflective or touch-sensitive color displays, the iPAQ family offers plenty of power for today's mobile business workforce. Many of the iPAQ Pocket PCs feature integrated wireless capabilities, and some even offer biometric fingerprint readers for enhanced security.
