Microsoft chief operating officer Kevin Turner leaving company
Kevin Turner is leaving Microsoft after eleven years near the top of the company as chief operating officer, the company has announced. He's leaving some mighty big shoes to fill — in fact, Microsoft plans to appoint five new positions to replace him. Reported earlier by Recode , Turner is heading to trading firm Citadel Securities after a "short transition period." Filling those shoes:

Kevin Turner is leaving Microsoft after eleven years near the top of the company as chief operating officer, the company has announced. He's leaving some might big shoes to fill — in fact, Microsoft plans to appoint five new positions to replace him.
Reported earlier by Recode, Turner is heading to trading firm Citadel Securities after a "short transition period."
Filling those shoes:
Jean-Philippe Courtoi, President, Microsoft International, taking on global sales and marketing
Judson Althoff, President, Microsoft North America, taking on large customer relationships
Chris Capossela, Chief Marketing Officer, overseeing retail and OEM relationships
Kurt DelBene, Executive Vice President, Corporate Planning and Strategy, taking on IT operations
Amy Hood, Chief Financial Officer, will now also oversee licensing
For most of the people, this is adding on or expanding existing responsibilities, generally complimentary or adjacent oversight over their current responsibilities.
