Microsoft Announces 1TB Bundle for an Xbox One Christmas

It’s that time of the year when we start refocusing our personal gadget buying to buying gadgets for others. Department stores started a couple months ago here, already adorned with Christmas decorations and playing holiday seasoned Musak through the ceiling tiles.

Microsoft is getting ready, too. Not only will the company announce new hardware devices next week (I’ll be in NYC for the launch, btw), but it’s also prepping the masses for new Xbox One bundles.

Today the company has taken wraps off a new Xbox One 1TB bundle, set to be available in October. The company hasn’t attached a solid date, just that it will be available starting in October, but Amazon outs the date as October 27, 2015. But, an Xbox One by itself, isn’t exactly considered a bundle, so the company is throwing in three games: Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, Rare Replay, and Ori and the Blind Forest.

Incidentally, I own the 500GB console and to prepare for the Christmas season, today I snagged a 5GB external drive (Seagate Expansion 5TB Desktop External Hard Drive USB 3.0). 500GB fills up too quickly. I’ll be reviewing that after it arrives.
