Q. How can I remove the fact a file has been downloaded from the Internet?
A. Yes. There are two ways.
The first is in Explorer right click on the file and under the General tab click the Unblock button in the Security section.
The second is to download the streams utility from https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/streams.aspx and use the -s -d switches to remove.
