DOOM Ported to the iPod

You have to love this news: Id Software's seminal PC shooter, DOOM, has been ported to just about every computer and video game system imaginable over the past 10 years, leading some onlookers to believe that a hardware platform is uninteresting until it gets a DOOM port. Well, Apple iPod fans, take note: An enterprising hacker has achieved the impossible: a playable DOOM port that runs on the iPod photo (and color iPod) MP3 player. There's just one catch: To run DOOM on the iPod, you need to install a special version of Linux first, which is a complicated process. Still, the fact that this is even available is incredible
