Bing Distill is Alive

Early in 2015 Microsoft began to offer public beta testing of its Bing Distill product. Essentially, Bing Distill is a destination on the Bing.com domain that uses machine learning in a Quora-esque fashion to allow crowd-sourced and crowd-vetted answers to search results.

Many have probably forgotten about the service and have all but given up participating. Microsoft seems to think so, too, as it has started pushing email notifications to those who haven’t visited the beta site for a while.

Using Bing Distill you can review popular questions and answers, provide answers and questions of your own, and even rate and comment on the content supplied by others.
