The Windows DNA 2000 Readiness Conference, scheduled for February 29 through March 3 in Denver, will give Microsoft partners, developers, architects, and consultants a sneak preview of SQL Server 2000.

The Windows DNA 2000 Readiness Conference, scheduled for February 29 through March 3 in Denver, will give Microsoft partners, developers, architects, and consultants a sneak preview of SQL Server 2000.The SQL Server development team will provide comprehensive technical information in 51 sessions. Other Microsoft developers will cover the rest of the Windows DNA 2000 platform in 34 additional sessions on such topics as Application Center 2000, BizTalk Server 2000, Commerce Server 2000, COM+, Host Integration Server 2000, the Visual Studio development system, and Windows 2000.Microsoft says SQL Server 2000 will offer enhanced scalability, availability, interoperability, manageability, and programmability. It will also offer new functionality for Windows 2000 integration, support for Windows CE, integrated data mining technologies, and rich Extensible Markup Language (XML) support.Conference attendees will receive a CD-ROM containing session materials and a copy of SQL Server 2000 beta 2, when it’s available.
