Sage Software and SalesLogix Corporation signed a letter of intent to develop interfaces linking the companies’ product lines, including Sage’s Acuity, MAS 90, and BusinessWorks back-office solutions and SalesLogix’s SalesLogix2000 and ACT! 2000 front-office products.A key component of the relationship will be an online services product based on SalesLogix’s Interact.com service, a business-to-business interactive application service that delivers value-added e-commerce content, tools, services, and applications. Focusing on small to midsized enterprises, Sage and SalesLogix have complementary dealer channels and a combined customer base of more than 5 million."This strategic alliance with SalesLogix will provide midsized businesses with the most powerful and tightly linked front-office/back-office solutions available," says David R. Butler, Sage Software president and COO.
