Navision Software signed a global sales and distribution agreement with Microsoft that lets Navision’s partner network sell and distribute Microsoft BackOffice products integrated with Navision solutions.

Navision Software signed a global sales and distribution agreement with Microsoft that lets Navision’s partner network sell and distribute Microsoft BackOffice products integrated with Navision solutions.The agreement marks the first time Microsoft has granted a Denmark-based enterprise business solutions developer permission to sell BackOffice products in conjunction with other business software. The alliance also continues Navision’s efforts to integrate Microsoft technology and products with its enterprise business solutions.“The success of Navision Financials featuring the Microsoft SQL Server option already has proven that this is a winning combination,” says René Stockner, Navision sales and marketing vice president. “This agreement will give Navision Solution Centers even more selling power.”“This [alliance] greatly simplifies the buying and installation process,” says Jeff Raikes, Microsoft Worldwide Sales and Support Group vice president. “Now, Navision Solution Centers can act as a single point of contact for customers seeking advanced solutions from both Microsoft and Navision Software.”Navision’s partner network includes more than 900 Navision Solution Centers.
