To block the subject Appshelp message, prior to the unattended installation of SQL Server 2000, Analysis Services, or corresponding Service Packs:
1. Copy / Paste the following to a NoAppshelp.reg file:
REGEDIT4
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindows NTCurrentVersionAppCompatFlags]
"{ff25f0b5-c894-45f4-a29d-1bdd0c7926cd}"==dword:00000001
2. Merge the NoAppshelp.reg file with the registry, or run regedit /s NoAppshelp.reg.
