Is your wiki sticky?

Wikis are a popular and growing trend on the internet these days.  The name for the technology is apt since wiki is the Hawaiian word for 'quick'.  If you've never looked at a wiki before, you should.  Wikis are a sort of knowledge sharing web technology where users can search, post, and revise articles.  The best known wiki is Wikipedia, an on-line encyclopedia with millions of articles.

Now keep in mind that almost all wikis are built upon free and open-source technologies.  But what's an IT guru to do if they want to deploy a wiki built upon SQL Server technology?

The good news is that there's an extremely good wiki called Confluence by an Australian company known as Atlassian.  While most wikis are free and open-source, Confluence is a commercial product.  However, it has a multitude of features and tools not available with regular ol' free wikis. 

If you're looking for a top quality knowledge sharing product based on SQL Server, I give Confluence a strong thumbs up.
