CCC Network Systems announced a $16.5 million investment from Dell Computer Corporation, Global Crossing Ventures, MSD Capital LP, Robertson Stephens & Company, and existing investor Meyer Duffy Ventures Fund. CCC Network Systems’ solutions facilitate efficient and secure management of thousands of servers within Web-hosting facilities and corporate data centers, optimizing space and lowering total ownership costs."MSD Capital has a substantial track record working with emerging IT companies; and with the development of the e-commerce marketplace, we see the server-management platform as a major market opportunity," says Glenn Fuhrman of MSD Capital.“The investment will enable us to extend our leading position within the marketplace, expand the execution of our product vision, and provide an even higher level of service and support to our customers," notes Stuart Ogilvy, CEO of CCC Network Systems.
