APEX Software and VideoSoft signed a merger agreement to become ComponentOne LLC. ComponentOne LLC will become the largest developer and vendor of add-on tools for the Microsoft Visual Studio market. The two companies will join to offer customers faster tool development and increased levels of service. The combination of APEX Software’s Windows-based tools, which increase programmer productivity, and VideoSoft’s development tools, which shorten the development process, ComponentOne will maximize its strengths in the US and international market.“With this merger, Windows developers will continue to benefit from our existing comprehensive product offerings. In addition, with our stronger team and increased resources, ComponentOne will be in position to really lead and assist the development community in the transition into the new Microsoft,” said Gustavo Eydelsteyn, founder of VideoSoft.
