HP announced two additions to its home entertainment PC line: the HP Media Center zd7000 notebook and the HP Media Center m300 Photosmart desktop PC series. HP Media Center PCs contain Windows XP Media Center Edition (MCE) 2004 and Intel Pentium 4 processors with Hyper-Threading (HT) Technology. The HP Media Center zd7000 notebook features a 17" high-resolution screen and an expanded keyboard. You can use the notebook to watch DVDs and play slide shows from front-mounted media card readers. The HP Media Center m300 Photosmart desktop PC series lets you edit, download, and archive your digital photography; listen to and record FM radio stations; print directly from the remote control; watch, pause, rewind, and record live TV; and access on-demand movie and music subscription services.
