R2 Versions of the Orchestrator Toolkit and Integration Packs Now Available

Systematically and almost methodically, Microsoft has been rolling out updated versions of products related to System Center and Windows Server 2012 since the R2 wave release a week ago. Just looking through the list of updated releases (see the list below), it almost boggles the mind the think that so many products and tools are affected by a revision update.

Another revision, released today, focuses on System Center Orchestrator. The Orchestrator Component Add-ons and Extensions download bumps the tools and integration packs (IPs) up to the R2 version, providing support for the gaggle of new updates. Here's what's included:

· System Center 2012 R2 Orchestrator Integration Toolkit – wizard-based utilities that allow admins and developers to generate new integration packs and new activities for Orchestrator.

· Integration Packs – the IPs included in the download are:

o Microsoft .Net Framework

o Configuration Manager

o Data Protection Manager

o Operations Manager

o Service Manager

o Virtual Machine Manager

o REST

o Exchange User

o Exchange Admin

o File Transfer Protocol (FTP)

o Active Directory
