Surface Pro 3 Gets Its Own Update History Page, Details First Firmware Update
The Update History page for the Surface Pro 3 has gone live the same days as the device's official release.

With the Surface Pro 3 releasing publicly today and its very first Firmware update already available since Thursday, I knew it wouldn’t be long before the new device would get its own official History Update page.
From here on out, this is where you can locate Surface Pro 3 update information:
The first update, released just prior to the device's inaugural retail launc, is detailed on the page already. Many have questioned what the update actually provides and so the page makes it (somewhat) clear:
Surface Pro Embedded Controller Firmware (v36.5.50.0)
Surface Pro System Aggregator Firmware (v3.7.50.0)
Surface Pro UEFI (v3.7.150.0)
Surface Pro Touch Controller Firmware (v426.27.66.0)
Wireless Network Controller (v15.68.3040.75)
Bluetooth (v15.68.3040.75)
Surface Integration (v2.0.739.0)
Surface Type Cover Firmware Update (v2.0.735.0)
Microsoft LifeCam Front (v2.0.733.0)
For those bringing their new devices home today from the Microsoft retail stores, make sure to apply this important update as it fixes some minor issues, specifically a power problem that plagued devices of early testers. Those that pre-ordered online, this update will need to be applied, too. It seems, though, pre-ordering wasn't the best option. Those that ordered accompanying keyboards are getting those today, but the actual Surface Pro 3's most likely won't show up for another few days. I guess it still pays to shop in the real world, sometimes.
