The annual IT/Dev Connections Conference for 2017 recently wrapped up in San Francisco, California at the Hilton Union Square Hotel.

We talked to all of our event sponsors about their products, services, and why they sponsor and attend a show like IT/Dev Connections.

Tell us a little bit about Code Two.

We are an ISV developing applications for Office 365 and Exchange on-premises administrators. We provide email signature automation and management but we’re also well known for helping thousands of businesses from around the globe migrate their data to Office 365 and then secure it with our offline backup solution.

How does your solutions make technologists job easier?

We automate everything. Why ask 5000 users in your organization to design or set up a signature in their email clients if you can create one template and deploy it company-wide for all users and all devices in 5 minutes? The same applies to our migration apps which totally automate the process of moving your company’s data to the cloud. We turned a complicated, complex and risky process into a simple migration task that can be performed by one person using our application, and without the need of using any scripts or additional tools to complete the process. The same applies to our backup solution which, thanks to its architecture, is often chosen by companies that need an additional level of security plus fast and granular restore options and 24-hour support from CodeTwo senior technicians.

What advice would you give to those in the technology profession so they can be better prepared for tomorrow and the future?

The advice that we would give to the technology profession is certainly to constantly learn about the new things and the IT world and to not refrain from testing new technologies - not only to simplify and streamline the processes they are responsible for, but also to stay abreast of what’s safe for their organization. The cloud world today is better prepared for the future than the on-premises one. Look at Microsoft and how Office 365 and Azure are now ready to help organizations meet all GDPR requirements.

When IT/DevConnections attendees walk up to your booth this week what are you talking to them about? What kind of questions are coming from them?

We’re amazed at how many people know CodeTwo. Just a few years ago we were “recognizable” and today it turns out that lots of IT pros (focused on Microsoft technologies) know our brand. So the questions that are coming from the attendees focus mostly on the specific features they want to talk about (if they are planning on implementing our technology) or about upcoming features in our products. At IT/Dev Connections this year we actually launched a high-anticipated feature in our email signature manager for Office 365, which allows the end-users to see the server-sided signature while typing an email. The feature now works with Outlook and OWA, but we’re now working on adding Outlook for Mac, iOS and Android support as well. We’re the only vendor in the world to deliver this type of technology to users – and we’re proud and happy that we could officially launch it in San Francisco together with you guys.

Finally, why does your company invest in being a sponsor for an event like IT/Dev Connections?

To us IT/Dev Connections is the best IT conference in the world. Period.
