Q. I'm trying to call ADO from within Windows Preinstallation Environment (WinPE) provided with System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) 2007, but I get the error "ActiveX component can't create object ADODB Connection." What's wrong?

A. The WinPE included with SCCM does not include optional components such as HTA or ADO. You need to create a custom WinPE environment with the additional components then import into SCCM
