New Defacement Archive
I recently stumbled across a new Web site defacement archive (that's been running since last April) that directly competes with attrition.org. What makes this site interesting is that it posts what ports were found open and what services were found running when it was attacked, including versions. See how well others have secured their systems.

New Microsoft Virtual Hosting Beta Available
Microsoft recently made available a download of its Scalable Hosting Solution (SHS), a beta Internet Server API (ISAPI) filter that potentially lets an IIS 5.0 Server virtually host thousands of Web sites on a single server. The Web site should contain only static content. For more information about SHS Beta 1, including download instructions, point your browser to Microsoft's download site.
