How do I delete a network port (e.g. LPT3:)?

A. Network ports are defined in the registry at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindows NTCurrentVersionPorts. Select the port you wish to delete and from Edit Menu select Delete.

You can also delete from the command line
net use lpt3: /del
