Q: How can I configure my Xbox One to automatically sign in as a specific user?
A: The Xbox One has several options for sign-in, including facial recognition when you stand in front of the Kinect. However, if you simply want your Xbox One to always sign in with the same profile as soon as you turn it on, perform the following steps:
Use a normal method to sign in with your profile.
Open Settings.
Select the Sign-in, security & passkey option (on the far left side, below the About me item).
Select Instant sign-in, as the following figure shows, and then select Use instant sign-in.
Press B until you're back at the main menu.
The Xbox One will now automatically sign in with your profile.
