Q. What are the limits associated with Azure Premium Storage?
A. For regular Azure storage accounts there is an IOPS limit and a capacity limit. Premium Storage accounts have a 35 TB limit but not a fixed IOPS limit. Instead the capacity limit indirectly restricts the amount of IOPS per Premium Storage account. Based on the 35 TB limit it would be possible to get around 150,000 IOPS from a single Premium Storage account.
