SonicWall SOHO Firewall Vulnerable to DoS Attack

VERSIONS AFFECTED

DESCRIPTIONA Denial of Service (DoS) attack has been discovered in Sonicwall's SOHO Firewall product.  

Demonstration

By connecting to the administrative web page and sending a long string as the username a malicious attacker could cause the firewall to stop responding to internal requests. 

VENDOR RESPONSE

Sonicwall has been notified and will be repairing this problem in the next firmware upgrade.
