Windows 10 Creators Update Build 15063 Moves to Release Preview Ring

Another item has been completed on Microsoft's checklist of steps to be accomplished before the release of the Windows 10 Creators Update next month.

Today the Redmond company released details of their planned roll-out of the third major feature update which will start on 11 April however, they also unveiled the update will be available six days ahead of the public release via their Update Assistant on 05 April.

That means there are just six days before that update build needs to be available for those early downloaders.

By moving Build 15063 to the Release Preview Ring today, availability is almost reality because OS builds only get moved into this ring when they are considered stable enough for Current Branch status.

One other thing is going to happen very soon and it might just be the last step in this process before public availability of the Creators Update next week.

Earlier today Microsoft posted a notice to the Windows 10 Feedback Hub which stated they planned to release KB4016250 to Windows Insiders in the Fast and Slow Rings.

This cumulative patch will bump the Creators Update to Build 15063.11 and address two issues:

-- Fixes an issue on Surface devices where the Bluetooth radio fails coming out of hibernate/resume.

-- Fixes an issue with McAfee Enterprise that causes a crash on build 15060 using Device Guard.

Shortly after it was discovered the article was pulled but over on Twitter members of the Windows Insider Program team stated the patch was not quite ready but would be coming out soon.

We are now within easy reach of the Creators Update for Windows 10 and after 8 months and 47 builds you just need to decide if you will go early or wait until it is your turn?
