A: Amazon has released an add-in for System Center Virtual Machine Manager (SCVMM) that enables management of services running in Amazon Web Services (AWS) through SCVMM. This add-in is documented and available for download at the New Microsoft System Center Virtual Machine Manager Add-In page. You might wonder whether an equivalent capability is available for Azure through SCVMM. The answer is no for SCVMM; however, this type of hybrid management is enabled through System Center App Controller and in the future will use Windows Azure Pack. If you're leveraging SCVMM on-premises and use AWS, then this add-in does provide a useful capability to enable single-pane-of-glass visibility into your services.
