Upgrade Evaluation Version of App Controller 2012 R2

Q: I have the evaluation version of Microsoft System Center 2012 R2 App Controller installed--so why, when I launch setup to enter the product key to convert to licensed, isn't the option to upgrade the evaluation license available?

A: This is a known problem. The solution is to install the .NET Framework 3.5 feature, which will make the license upgrade option available.
