A new Microsoft Garage app helps you quickly showcase your collections.
July 7, 2016

Available as invite-only for iOS users right now, Thinga.me is a pretty nifty Microsoft Garage release.
Thinga.me is a collector’s dream, allowing those who like to amass collections to organize and share them. For many, there’s a fine line between the various levels of collecting. But, obviously, Thinga.me is designed for those who like structure and organization to collecting and probably not something immediately useful to hoarders or junkers.
Thinga.me seemingly does the impossible by capturing the image, cutting the background away from the image, and then allowing you select the proper showcase.
I’m a collector of several things: comic books, stamps, and old coins. So, to me this looks extremely useful. I’m interested enough that I’m dusting off the iPhone to make my request and begin testing.
