The Lighter Side of MMS

With several colleagues, I attended MMS last week. I got a lot of good information from the sessions there and saw several interesting new products on the expo floor. Windows IT Pro has already posted about the news for System Center Configuration Manager and Virtual Machine Manager and provided a wrap-up. Today I write about a little event that wrapped up the show.

With several colleagues, I attended MMS last week. I got a lot of good information from the sessions there and saw several interesting new products on the expo floor. Windows IT Pro has already posted about the news for System Center Configuration Manager and Virtual Machine Manager and provided a wrap-up. Today I write  about a little event that wrapped up the show.

The last day of MMS was Friday, and it as only a half day of sessions. So the last session Friday was used as an opportunity to have some fun while reviewing some advanced systems management material. The final session was a Jeopardy-style game called "BC06: Windows Deployment Live Game Show."

The questions were mostly pretty tough. For example,

The contestants, hosts, and questions all got kind of silly as the "session" proceeded.

And later got downright absurd…

It's hard to declare a winner from the game show—things got pretty silly after the audience shouted out an answer to the Bieber question and the judges had to decide whether the question (a "daily double") counted.
