Surface 3 with LTE devices now available for pre-order from Microsoft

Back in late July Microsoft announced that the Surface 3 with LTE would be sold unlocked by the Microsoft Store beginning on 24 July 2015.

On that same day they had to issue an update to their announcement blog post and retract that availability date because they were a little too excited and jumped the gun about the device being in stores that day.

They indicated the unlocked Surface 3 with 4G LTE would be available in the U.S. in late August however, that never happened.

What did happen, in a last minute update on the Surface blog on 31 August, was the company revealed the unlocked Surface 3 with LTE would be available in the U.S. and Canada beginning 19 September and on 02 October in France, Germany and the United Kingdom.

Pre-orders for the device begin today in the U.S. and start on September 10th for Canada. There is no additional information about pre-orders for France, Germany and the United Kingdom.

There are two unlocked LTE options for the Surface 3:

These devices should ship with Windows 10 pre-installed now and include one year of Office 365 Personal which is worth $69.99.

So, is this a device on your list to get now that it is available unlocked with LTE connectivity?

But, wait...there's probably more so be sure to follow me on Twitter and Google+.
