Understand defrag rules related to SSD drives.
November 3, 2014
Q: If my SSD gets extremely defragmented, should I defrag it?
A: No. SSDs want to be fragmented because fragmentation actually improves the wear-leveling of data over many blocks. You should never defragment an SSD.
