Remove Windows 8 Subscribed Published Applications Feed

Q: I added a Remote Desktop feed using the Windows 8 "Modern" Remote Desktop application--now how do I remove it?

A: The "Modern" Remote Desktop application available in Windows 8 and later makes it easy to add published applications and desktops by adding the URL of the Remote Desktop web portal feed or even just typing in your email address (if you organization has created the required DNS entry).

However, there's no way to remove a configured Remote Desktop feed using the Modern application.

Fortunately, the actual configuration isn't specific to the Modern Remote Desktop application and is part of the OS configuration. So you can use the RemoteApp and Desktop Connections control panel applet to remove the configuration. Simply click the Remove link at the bottom of the displayed connection properties (see screen shot below).
