Q: How can I check on and receive notification if Azure is experiencing problems?

A: The new Azure portal has an overall status view on the dashboard. In addition, you can view the Azure status page to see the status of all services across the globe. You can also sign up for an Azure status RSS feed to receive notification as status updates are made. It's also possible to sign up for RSS notifications of specific services.
