Popular Windows IT Pro magazine expert Dan Holme is holding Masterclasses in Munich and London in the next couple of weeks and our readers can share his wisdom for half-price.

The Hawaii-based guru touches down for his two-day Dan Holme Masterclass 2010 at the Dolce Hotel in Unterschleissheim, Munich, on July 1 and 2. The normal price for this event is £600 (or £300 for each day) but Windows IT Pro News EMEA subscribers can take advantage of a special price of £300 (or £150 per day).

Holme hits London for a one-day SharePoint 2010 Masterclass on June 29 at the Radisson Edwardian Heathrow hotel. Readers can save £99.50 on the regular price of £199. To take advantage of these offers, follow the instructions at the end of this article

MVP Dan Holme is a contributing editor to Windows IT Pro magazine and his articles feature here on an almost monthly basis. On top of that, he's director of consulting for a firm that delivers services for enterprise-sized Windows shops as well as being the Microsoft technologies consultant for U.S. network TV station NBC's coverage of the Olympics.

As we revealed in the May edition of Windows IT Pro News EMEA, the first day of Holme's Munich Masterclass will focus on best practices for all recent versions of Windows for administering Active Directory, Group Policy and Windows clients and servers. Day two focuses exclusively on SharePoint and is aimed both at IT people who are just beginning to work out the potential of the platform and those who are planning to migrate to SharePoint 2010 from previous versions.

Topics include a SharePoint Administration "jump-start" which explains what you need to know to administer SharePoint in just 90 minutes, a look at how to use SharePoint document libraries as a replacement for traditional file shares, and a session on driving end-user adoption via Office apps acting as SharePoint clients.

Holme will also explain how to build "business intelligence-lite" and business process automation solutions that are code-free using Office clients and SharePoint Designer as well as how to align SharePoint 2010 with a business's strategic objectives.

London's June 29 SharePoint 2010 Masterclass will follow the same agenda. To attend the Dan Holme's Munich Masterclass, simply register at the conference's website and on the registration form quote discount code: BOGOF and you will save £150 on a one day Masterclass or £300 for both days.

For the London SharePoint 2010 Masterclass, go to the conference's website and on the registration form simply quote the discount code: BOGOF to save £99.50.
