It should really never have come to this, but it has. As much hope as I put into the Current Branch release of Windows 10 Mobile, you’d think there would have been some glimmer of value in upgrading from Windows Phone 8.1. But, as a Microsoft Band user, the upgrade is probably not worth it.
Those running any build of Windows 10 Mobile – even the public, official release version – all have one problem or another with their Microsoft Band from Cortana to notifications to synching.
More and more I’m hearing Microsoft Band owners reporting moving their Windows 10 Mobile upgrades back to Windows Phone 8.1. And, in doing so, all of their Microsoft Band issues just go away.
If you can live with hampered Microsoft Band functionality, feel free to stick it out with Windows 10 Mobile and wait around to see if Microsoft can eventually get it right. And, when that happens – please let us know. But, if you want a full-featured in a Windows smartphone environment, drop back to the reliable old Windows Phone 8.1.
