A: The final virtual machine (VM) support number for a Windows Server 2012 cluster is 8,000 VMs per Windows 2012 Failover Cluster (which can have 64 nodes). This is an increase from the previous 4,000 that was previously disclosed. Each node can support up to 1,000 VMs.
