Q. How can I get a free clipping tool for Windows?

A. Microsoft has released Snip, a neat little snipping tool that enables a section of the screen or window to easily be captured and allows the user to annotate, share or save the snippet they've snapped. Additionally, it gives users the ability to create and toggle through multiple whiteboards -- handy for referencing the library which is where all content is saved. 

The tool is available at https://mix.office.com/en-us/snip and once installed it places a toolbar on the desktop at the top (which can be disabled via settings) and a system tray icon that opens up the various options. Pressing the Print Screen key quickly opens the Snip capture to enable capturing of the screen. Note that all "snips" are saved to the library until you manually delete them from there.
