On the Ground for Build 2016

Greetings from crisp, clear and sunny San Francisco.

As you read here yesterday, Microsoft's big developer conference kicks off tomorrow and will produce three days of keynotes and technical content on technologies in the Microsoft stack.

It is interesting this year to see some definite enterprise related content show up in the sessions list considering this is typically a very developer focused event.

I am here in San Francisco to cover all three days of Build 2016 and here at Windows IT Pro the team has several ways for you to follow along with the conference.

First thing is you will be able to watch the two live streamed keynotes and all of the Channel 9 Build related content right here on Windows IT Pro through our Build 2016 Portal.

The live stream begins at 8:30 AM PDT on Wednesday and Thursday (click each day to covert over to your local time zone) for the two main keynotes. It is expected that the Day 1 keynote will be focused on Windows 10 while on Day 2 it will be all about the developer stack.

It is also possible that a few other subjects will pop up in both sessions.

Immediately following each keynote you can stay tuned in at our Windows IT Pro Build 2016 Portal as Microsoft's Channel 9 team will be live broadcasting from the event throughout the entire day focusing on various elements of the keynote info and announcements.

Although there is no keynote on Friday, Channel 9 will continue to cover different subject areas in their live broadcast that entire final day. Just tune back in on our Windows IT Pro Build 2016 Portal Friday morning starting at 9 AM PDT (click here to covert this over to your local time zone) to follow along.

Of course, no coverage of any big event is complete without the social media component and we will be delivering coverage from that aspect as well.

I will be live tweeting each keynote from my @WinObs Twitter account and that will be the full stream of content, commentary and images from inside both keynotes.

If you want to follow a more curated stream of my live tweeting during those keynotes then check out the @WindowsITPro Twitter account for those keynote highlights.

Keep coming back to Windows IT Pro throughout Build 2016 for additional coverage of the details from the keynotes and other breakout sessions being presented by Microsoft.

Then, after you have gotten a taste of all the new stuff Microsoft is sending your way, be sure to check out IT Dev Connections so you can take your learning to the next level.

But, wait...there's probably more so be sure to follow me on Twitter and Google+.
