Trying to keep up with exactly how much Cloud storage is left is a constant concern for many. For others, it only becomes a concern when it runs out and nothing additional can be added. And, when it's gone, much time is spent trying to determine what can be kept and what can be trashed. For those with a penchant to want to keep everything, those data hoarders, this scenario can result in an almost full stop and a moment of freak out.
Thinking about the types of data and how much of it is constantly delivered and stored to the Cloud, most of it automated without conscious disclosure, can be mind boggling. Think about, for example, pictures taken with your smartphone camera. Most smartphone apps are configured to automatically synch photos to the Cloud. If you're an avid photographer, over time those photos can mount up and your Cloud storage can disappear.
It's hard to imagine the Cloud as anything but just something, out there somewhere, and that is always available and always plentiful.
Today, Microsoft is announcing one more feature for Office 365 users that should help take the worry out of managing Cloud storage space. To make storage limits in the Cloud a thing of the past, from henceforth Office 365 customers will get unlimited OneDrive storage at no additional cost.
Starting today, those Office 365 customers part of the Home, Personal, and University SKUs, will enjoy free reign for OneDrive storage, but only if you sign-up to be one of the first. Microsoft will be phasing in unlimited storage across the Office 365 customer base.

OneDrive for Business customers will start to see a similar offering in the coming days, as Microsoft updates its Office 365 roadmap. Office 365 business customers can expect unlimited storage allotments to start in 2015.
